Poltergeist[ | ]

Formed in pure amalgams of ectoplasm, Poltergeists manifest the will of hundreds of fallen.

Primary Racial Ability[ | ]

Enter Spirit-Form and move towards your cursor in a flying dash that scales with wing time. Colliding with an entity will allow you to haunt them. When haunting an NPC or player, you will be invulnerable and invisible inside of them. You may use items, but will get kicked out of the haunted NPC after a certain amount of time that scales with wing time. You may haunt players and have no time limits whatsoever, but not in PvP. You may use the mana of haunted players. Colliding with blocks will end Spirit-Form and begin the cooldown. In Spirit-Form, you take on the appearance of a Dungeon Spirit.

Secondary Racial Ability[ | ]

Creates a telekinetic ring that sucks in items, projectiles, and non-boss enemies. Automatically adds any items caught in the center to the player's inventory. Has a custom mana bar that scales with Maximum Mana.

Traits[ | ]

No fall damage.

Immune to Bleeding, Poison, and Acid Venom.

Playstyle[ | ]

The Poltergeist race in Multiplayer is best played as a glass-cannon, as it is possible to haunt the players with the highest defense or skill in dodging, and still continuously deal damage. It is also advised to haunt players with large amounts of mana. The Secondary Racial Ability works well with mods such as Ore Excavator, as you can pick up all the ores without having to reach them.
