Welcome

I’m an artist in Oakland, California. My primary medium is drawing, and my current focus is on wildlife, their lives, and our shared reality. I see the natural world which is diverse, complex, vivid & exuberant, which reflects my lived experience and inner world.

My main medium is graphite, and I almost always used gouache as a minimal color accent. I use color minimally to reflect the emotion of the piece. I often also add ink and sometime collage, depending on what will be work to convey the feeling of the work.

I work standing up; it’s important to me to use my whole body even when doing small detail work.
