This book is what I'm waiting for, finally I get to find out who's Doreen's almost ex-husband really is. And there's no surprise there, the plot is predictable and some parts just didn't make any sense, but do I hate it? No. I still love it, all because the relationship between Doreen and Mack, and I get to see how everyone is so supportive and always help Doreen and of course Thadeus and Goliath and Mugs, always fun to read them in action.

Doreen continues to entertain with her pets, grandmother and detective skills. I'm sure she never imagined this mystery crossing her path but she handles it with her usual affinity for delving into the cause and now even attempts to remove her name from the possibly guilty status. Her antics with Mack, her grandmother, the neighbor and actually with everyone keeps this story a super fun read! Very entertaining!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

These books by Dale are great cozy mysteries. They are quick, easy reads with great characters. Doreen and her animals are famous, she is recognised now as the woman that solves mysteries. Unfortunately this time around she is the number 1 suspect. And there is a new female Detective, that rubs Doreen the wrong way. Mack has his hands tied as well as he is too close to the main suspect. Doreen does her thing though, and sets out to clear her name. I'd definitely recommend this series of book's, because they always leave me smiling and wanting more.
