I gotta tell you this app saved my life. Ive lost all faith in preloaded android memos because they don't self save and trend to have issues. The only thing i hate is the ads but if you closer it a certain way you won't have to worry about it! And i love the way you can customize color scheme and change it to night mode! Perfect! Now I've been using this for a while and I've never had this app crash on me as many times as it has since I've been updating it. What's going on?

great app, simple to use, reliable. EDIT: Since the update, the app won't open properly, just comes up as a black screen. I close it and reopen it a few times and it will say 'app not responding, wait or close?' then maybe it will open if I close it and try again. I dunno what's up? It was perfect before the update. I'd hate to have to find another note pad app that I liked as much as this one.

Edited June 2024: App started crashing regularly for me a few months ago, getting consistently worse until now I cannot open it at all. Deeper investigation has revealed that it will not open unless I disable my network ad and tracking blocker. I am disappointed because this is one of few apps that will allow a local backup to a location of my choice. Original review from 2019: This app works well for me for taking quick notes on the fly, as well as keeping track of to-do lists.
