Continental Airlines will forever be known at best only for their well known anti worker leader, Frank Lorernzo and his ability to extract cash for himself then bankrupt airlines. Superiority is a word never used in the same sentence. Good riddance that scab airline.

Continental Airlines was absorbed into United Airlines on March 03, 2012. Continental was, from my passenger experience, the superior airline; but it no longer exists.

I don't see the location or the maintenance shop in the SDRs.

The database I checked doesn't display fields for where the work was done or which organization did it. Sorry. It does say this, though:

Air Carrier Name CONTINENTAL AIRLINES INC

And that's from an SDR in 2023 November.

I'm happy to know that UAL still has its own MRO, point of pride, which makes for a great organization.

You mean well maintained by mainline United Airlines mechanics since aircraft acquisition. Check it's work history.

14-yo Continental bird, well-maintained and well-behaved

Looks like she has a good service record. The media will be disappointed if they can't sensationalize this one.
