A Skywest Airlines Embraer ERJ-175 on behalf of Alaska Airlines, registration N199SY performing flight AS-3352 from Los Angeles,CA to Eugene,OR (USA), departed Los Angeles' runway 25R, climbed to FL360 and FL340 and was on final approach to Eugene's runway 34L descending through about 1300 feet MSL when the crew initiated a go around due to an unsafe gear indication. While working the checklists the crew positioned for another approach to runway 34L, instructed the passengers to brace for landing and landed safely about 20 minutes later.

The FAA reported: "AIRCRAFT HAD A BLOWN TIRE THAT DAMAGED ELECTRICAL WIRES AND PANELING ASSOCIATED WITH THE LANDING GEAR, EUGENE, OR."

The aircraft is still on the ground about 25 hours after landing.
